Privacy Policy
What this site collects, what it does not, and how to have anything removed.
The short version: this site collects very little, sells nothing, and does not build a profile of you.
What is collected
- Basic server logs. Like nearly every website, the server records requests — IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the time, and the referring page. These are used to keep the site running and to see roughly how much it is read.
- Anything you send us. If you email the contact address, we hold your message and your email address for as long as it takes to deal with it.
What is not collected
There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no comment system and no forms on this site. We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or any other personal information, because there is nothing here that would need them.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Web fonts are loaded from a third-party font service, which means your browser makes a request to that service and it will see your IP address; if you would rather it did not, browser extensions that block third-party requests will prevent it without breaking the site's layout badly.
Sharing
Nothing is sold. Nothing is traded. Nothing is handed to advertisers or data brokers. The only parties who see anything are the hosting provider that runs the server and, for fonts, the font service described above — and then only as a technical necessity of serving the page.
Retention
Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded. Email correspondence is deleted once the matter it concerns is closed.
Opting out
Since there is no account and no mailing list, there is nothing to unsubscribe from. If you have emailed us and want your message and address erased, ask and we will delete them. To limit what the server log records, use a VPN or a privacy-focused browser.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version replaces this page. There is no archive of previous versions.
